Clear your well-water of radon and VOC's. Safely

Eliminate Waterborne Radon

Now you can clear your wellwater of radioactive radon gas. Safely. The CLEARADON system, an adaption of proven technology in industrial applications, can rid your home of a major source of cancer-causing radon.

• Removes up to 99.9% of radon from your wellwater and safely vents it outside.
• No radioactive build-up that occurs with Granulated Activated Carbon (charcoal) systems.
• Also removes carcinogenic Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s)
• Even improves the taste through the process of aeration.

Easily Installed

CLEARADON fits conveniently into your current water system (in the basement or utility room) with a capacity to automatically clean up to 12 gallons per minute. Powerful, yet energy efficient, the system will run only about an hour a day for a family of four at an approximate annual power cost of $30.

• Patented CLEARADON system engineered to resist fouling from iron, manganese and hardness.
• Designed and manufactured for years of trouble-free operation.
• Rotationally molded from sturdy, FDA-approved polyethylene.
• Double wall construction to resist sweating.

Resistant to Fouling

The CLEARADON system is the only residential system designed to be fouling resistant. Most high-efficiency aeration systems available today rely on thousands of tiny holes to introduce air into the water. While this is equally effective in stripping away radon, these holes can quickly become plugged with iron, manganese or hardness, rendering the aeration system ineffective.

The much larger holes in the CLEARADON aeration tray are the size typically chosen by chemical engineers to resist plugging, providing years of worry-free operation.

Air is blown up through hundreds of 3/16" (4.8mm) diameter holes in the tray. The air forms a froth of bubbles approximately 6 inches (15.2cm) deep on the tray, generating a large mass transfer surface area where the contaminants are volatilized.

Experience

As a manufacturer of top quality stripping systems since 1983, North East Environmental Products is committed to improving groundwater so that it will be clean and safe for people.
