Filters and Softener for a
Small Public Water System
|
This is a system installed for a recreational facility. The system consists of two filter in parallel followed by a softener. The softener has its own meter to control regeneration and to provide the most efficient system possible. The pressure storage tank on the right is installed to help with quick peak flows. Notice the valves with the tags hanging on them. These valves are labeled by-pass valves for service and emergency by-pass. The device on the wall (above and to the right of the by-pass) is a water meter installed to monitor use. The room for this system was designed to allow for the installation of more pressure storage and retention tanks if there is ever a need. A tee for the potential future need of solution injection has also been installed. We design all of our systems with future needs in mind.
