Air & Water Quality Glossary

Clear

In water treatment, if water is clear it is said to have very low turbidity. Water is considered clear if words on a page would not be blurred when viewed through the water even if the water has color.

Examples -
Pure water is clear and colorless (not white)
Orange Kool-Aid is clear and orange
Tea is clear and light brown
